Michael Tuohy made three changes to the side that drew 1-
Germany started on the front foot, enjoying most of the early possession and winning several corners inside the opening five minutes.
Scotland took the lead in the 7th minute through Lucy Jane Hope. The striker intercepted a misplaced German pass at the back before rounding goalkeeper Katharina Jeppe and rolling the ball into the empty net.
Germany responded in the 13th minute. Evita Judith Kogel delivered a corner from the left and Clara Lucie Truemner got her head to the ball in a crowded goalmouth to level the score.
Scotland continued to cause problems with their pressing as Germany remained determined to play out from the back. Hope almost capitalised again in the 22nd minute, dispossessing Jeppe after the goalkeeper spent too long on the ball, but a heavy touch carried it out for a goal kick.
Four minutes later, Hope struck again. The Scotland forward dispossessed Paula Scharras as Germany tried to pass through the middle, then raced towards goal and lifted the ball over Jeppe to restore Scotland's lead.
Germany pushed for another equaliser as the half progressed. Svenja Hecke drove forward from the left and fired off target before an Ela Kural effort from the centre of the box was deflected wide.
Hope continued to torment the German defence and dispossessed Jeppe again in the 39th minute, although Lucie Meyer recovered to prevent Scotland from capitalising.
Germany had another opportunity shortly before the interval when Kural held off several Scotland players around the penalty area before sending her effort wide.
Both sides made changes at the interval, with Marcie Kane replacing Mirren Duncan for Scotland. Germany made five substitutions, including Sofija Rajic replacing Katharina Jeppe in goal.
Scotland almost extended their lead in the 48th minute. Lucy Jane Hope raced through on goal after a long ball, but Rajic produced an excellent save to deny the Scotland striker her hat-
The visitors continued to make inroads from both wings, while another dangerous German corner caused problems for the Scotland defence before Anderson eventually gathered the ball. Ela Kural attempted to curl an effort into the top corner from the edge of the box in the 63rd minute, but sent her shot well wide.
Despite Germany controlling much of the second half, Scotland threatened in the 68th minute. Lexie Kelly Fellows played a dangerous ball down the left to Phoebe O'Donnell, who cut inside and forced Rajic into a save.
Germany continued to push Scotland deeper as they searched for an equaliser. Rajic almost gifted the hosts an opportunity when she spilled the ball in the 77th minute, before Truemner fired wide from distance three minutes later. Anika Helmer then tested Anderson from range, forcing the Scotland goalkeeper into a save.
Scotland's defence continued to withstand sustained German pressure in the closing stages. Ida Marie Roppel fired from distance in the 87th minute, but her effort went straight into Anderson's hands, before Marley Harrow produced an important block inside the penalty area.
Scotland were reduced to ten players in second-
Germany continued to push desperately for an equaliser, and Anderson produced a crucial late save from close range, diverting the ball past the post despite already being on the ground. The European Champions continued to threaten with a succession of late corners, but Scotland held firm to secure the victory.
